Developmental Beta Reading
I offer services as a developmental beta reader (and occasional editor, but you have to ask real nice) for novels of all stripes, though my specialties reside in the SFF and literary realms.
I've been told I'm pretty good at it.*
The thing you need to know: I beta read as a reader, editor and writer. Thus, my critiques are more technical and developmental than your average. If you only want :) / :( in-line reactions, I am not the reader for you.
*Reviews are from Fiverr. I'm hoping to move more work off-platform due to their predatory business model.
I'm here to help with a comprehensive critique of your story
I will provide feedback in-line (where the bulk of the work is done) and a reader report (~750 words -- sometimes more, never less -- to address any overarching issues) on the following:
